2027: Keyamo Commends Adeleke for Reaffirming Support for Tinubu
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has commended Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, for reaffirming his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for re-election in the 2027 presidential election.
Keyamo described Adeleke as a “man of integrity and honour” following the governor’s public declaration of support for Tinubu.
In a post on X, the minister thanked Adeleke for what he described as the governor’s “public and unequivocal endorsement” of President Tinubu.
“Thank you, Governor Ademola Adeleke, for the public and unequivocal endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 Presidential Election,” Keyamo said.
Adeleke had earlier expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for what he described as the President’s support for a free and fair electoral process in Osun State.
“At this point, I must deeply appreciate Mr President, His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his strong support for a free and fair election,” Adeleke said.
The Osun governor also described Tinubu as “a son of Osun State” before formally reaffirming his support for the President’s second-term bid.
“Mr President is a son of Osun State, and I hereby reaffirm my earlier endorsement of him for a second term in the 2027 presidential election,” Adeleke stated.
Adeleke’s endorsement came after he secured another term as governor of Osun State, defeating the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, in the governorship election.
Reacting to the development, Keyamo said the governor had demonstrated integrity by publicly maintaining his position on the President’s 2027 ambition.
The renewed endorsement adds to the growing political conversations ahead of the 2027 presidential election, with Tinubu expected to seek another term in office.
