Barr Alaribe Praises Gov. Uzodimma’s Healthcare Initiative in Aboh Mbaise, As Contractor Pledge to Ensure professionalism

The member representing Aboh Mbaise State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Princewill Ugochukwu Amuchie, has led the effort to renovate and upgrade Aboh Mbaise General Hospital through the Imo State Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with Heartland Hospital Management Corporation.

This initiative is part of Governor Hope Uzodimma’s administration’s broader plan to enhance healthcare infrastructure and services throughout Imo State.

The development was disclosed when Hon. Amuchie, accompanied by the project contractor, Dr. Enyioha Chris Anyanwu, PhD, CEO of Diversified Richfields Ltd, visited Barr. Iheukwumere Henry Alaribe, the Executive Chairman of Aboh Mbaise LGA, to update him on the project. During the visit, Hon. Amuchie explained that the renovation and upgrade of hospitals across Imo State are happening in phases, with Aboh Mbaise among the first three local government areas chosen for the initial phase.

He said the General Hospital will undergo extensive renovations, be upgraded with modern medical facilities, and receive medical supplies and drugs supplied through Heartland Hospital Management Corporation. He emphasized that the project would greatly improve healthcare delivery and give residents better access to quality medical services. Hon. Amuchie added that the project is scheduled to start before the week ends and assured he would keep monitoring its progress to ensure it is completed as planned and on time.

In his reply, Barr. Alaribe thanked Governor Hope Uzodimma for approving the project, calling it another example of the governor’s dedication to the people of Aboh Mbaise.

According to him. “We sincerely thank His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma, for always having the people of Aboh Mbaise at heart. This intervention is another clear demonstration of his love and commitment to our people.
We have also seen his administration’s support during various outbreaks and public health emergencies, including providing vaccines and other critical aid to protect our community.”

Describing Governor Uzodimma as a “God-sent Governor to Imo State,” Barr. Alaribe expressed gratitude for including Aboh Mbaise among the first three local government areas to benefit from the program, and also praised Hon. Amuchie for his efforts in bringing this intervention.

Discussing the project, the CEO of Diversified Richfields Ltd, Dr. Enyioha Chris Anyanwu, stated the company was ready to begin work, with mobilization already in progress.

In his speech, “We are ready to start work. Our mobilization is already underway, and we expect physical work to begin before the end of this week. We are dedicated to delivering a quality project that meets all standards and deadlines.”Dr Anyanwu stated.

Those present included Barr. Charles Mbakwe, Secretary to the Local Government; Hon Chinonye Nwaogu, Chief Whip, Aboh Mbaise Legislative Council; Hon. John Ikewe, Supervisor for Works; and Hon. Ugochukwu Amuchie, Supervisor for Health.
